stalling

Post  azzamut on Wed Dec 05, 2007 4:00 pm

My car continues to stall, when i start it i have to keep revving it to stop it from stalling, any time the clutch is engaged it trys to stall. It just has the standard dump valvev fitted, with no engine mods apart from a K & N air filter.

Any ideas what might be causing this? Before this happened, for about 2weeks before... on start up the revs would idle quite high around 2,000 rpm which it didnt do before

Thanks

hey, this is my 4th evo now and they have all idled a bit higher than normal, as for stalling i have never had that problem but as a guess i would say the idle control valve Question worth a try mate

Hi Azzamut

Have you got to the bottom of your stalling issue,or are you stuck at the side of the road never to seen or heard from again?
Hope this finds you well.
